Quest Integrity, a global leader in inspection and engineering services is seeking a NDT Field Service Technician who will assist with all phases in the execution of FTIS inspection jobs. 

All NDT Field Technicians are required to participate in training in order to certify as a Project Manager. This training will be performed within a defined timeframe and includes the successful passing of both our internal certification programs and on-the-job experience.

The position will be based in Vianen, Netherlands. 

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Perform pre-job responsibilities; work scope reviews, prep report materials (create drawings and load historical tables), calibration verifications, pack and transport inspection equipment.
  • Perform on-site inspection duties; set up equipment, verify tool calibration, launch, receive, track inspection tools, perform equipment repairs, verify data quality, cleaning and re-packing of the equipment, analyze and process inspection data and assist with field report generation.
  • Perform post-job responsibilities; inspect equipment, clean vehicle, perform tool check-in tasks and calibration verifications, assist with final report generation.
  • Participate in necessary trainings to certify as a project manager within the established timeframe.
  • Maintain equipment and general shop upkeep.
  • Perform audits (peer review) on final reports to ensure quality control.
  • Make safety a top priority at all times as it relates to you, all colleagues, and our clients’ personnel.  

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENT: 

  • Two year technical degree or equivalent training/experience in the high tech, field service, refining or petrochemical industry. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering a plus.
  • Documented UT (ultrasonic) knowledge a plus.
  • Must be fluent English. Other languages a plus.
  • Prior experience in high tech, field service, refining or petrochemical industry preferred.
  • Prior field service experience running technical projects with crews preferred.
  • Must possess strong electro-mechanical aptitude and mathematical skills.
  • Possess excellent analytical, communication (both oral and written), writing and reading skills.
  • Prior management and/or sales experience a plus.
  • Must possess outstanding customer service skills, an excellent attention to detail and a strong ability to work in a team environment.
  • Must be able to obtain foreign work visas and national worker identification cards as required for domestic and international work.
  • Requires excellent ability to represent the company in a professional manner with regard to communicating and maintaining confidentiality with clients on a regular basis.
  • Willingness to travel upwards of 80% of the time during peak periods.
  • Must possess a good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
